is 50/50. It will deliver on nostalgia and laughs but it's not going to be able to compete with other shooters. Then again, it's not trying to compete with other shooters so ...
I'm not buying it out of principle. I hate the whole online pass idea because it means less players overall will be online and it's generally used to hide their bad multiplayer. Not to mention Portal 2 comes out on the same day and if I buy that for PS3 then I can get the PC version for free and I can play co-op with PC users for free. This is a big deal for me as I have a few friends who mainly game on PC and now I'll be able to play Portal 2 with them.

People who complain about online passes either rent the game or buy it used as the online pass is free when you buy a game new.
