How can one be loyal to a company who never in a million years would be loyal in return for any reason other than profit? I think they would be better off just getting rid of the core edition, lowering the price of the elite and premium and putting a quiter dvd rom drive in it. Another sku would just make things even more confusing.
It isnt the only piece of hardware that has had issues but from my own experience its the ONLY thing other than my mac dual 867 g4 that I have owned that has died more than 3 times on me. I still love my 360 but that love isn't due to its stability.

The game looks like its going to be a winner through and through. I am a bit burnt on arcade style racing but the inclusion of cars mods puts this on my must have list.
Thor i am really confused about your comments. Haven’t played forza 2 or seen the simply amazing custom paint jobs people come up with obviously. I personally would prefer being given the option to choose if i get car damage or not. If you don’t like it turn it off. See both sides can have their cake and eat it too. I have never heard anyone complain about adding extra features to a game.

Eamon i agree with you about haze. I also think it should be added that the sound sucks in the game, the voice acting is horrible and i don’t like the gun sounds 1 bit. I am an audio nerd and as such i care about sounds more than most gamers do so I know this is hardly a deal breaker for many of you.

Yeah if you cross your eyes turn the sound off and sit 20 feet from the screen i guess i could see how you would say that but it doesnt look like it plays even slightly like halo. All of free radicals games at this point have played like evolved versions of bond which is hardly a bad thing.

This is a huge deal to me. Damage is one of the things that in my opinion makes forza a more realistic racing sim. The damage makes a huge difference in the realism and driving behavior during online play. When playing GT I would do all sorts of crazy redline shifts from 6 to first to slow my car down and give me tons of power to pull out of turns but when I tried this in forza I blew up my tranny and lost the race. GT can be bent in ways that are unrealistic due to the lack of damage. C...
DJ I have been red ringed 3 times at this point. Each time my 360 was returned in a very timely fashion and I was provided with excellent communication. Every 360 owner that I know who has been red ringed has gotten there xbox back in around a week. I can only go by what I see.

God I am getting burnt on racing games like grid. Maybe i have played to many in too short of a time. Arcade racers tend to be rather shallow to begin with in my opinion. Forza and GT are the only two i really care about at this point so i dont think i will be picking this game up.
You can tell you haven’t been playing games very long. The big N is known for being a 1rst party god. I am not that big into Nintendo these days due to all the party games but if R&D 1 or 2 have anything to do with the game it is 100% going to be a hit. I can't think of to many original Xbox games that I would still want to play online so I am not sure what the big deal is. I am not saying Xbox didn’t have awesome online games to play I am just saying most of them are dated as hell at this point. Why play pgr 2 when I can play 3 or 4?
