I think it's great how Square and Level 5 co-operate so closely when they make DQ games.

It's a hell of a challenge getting used to a new engine and console hardware.

PS3 Demo gameplay ran at 720p native fixed and the CGI/Cutscenes were full 1080p native.
There is always a chance the 360 version could be sub-HD since it's a port but it's pretty unlikely.
The only thing I do expect is the 360 version to ship on 4 discs since when Kitase said they were "aiming for 3 discs" and pointed out "this is not the final count".

You do realize that this is a release estimate that ALL places do just to get early pre-orders. S-E haven't even announced the Japanese release date, yet alone the Western release.
Shopto.net listed FFvsXIII has a March 2009 release.....that says it all really.
With the 360 version being 70% complete and the PS3's localization well underway we will get this April-May.
It always amazes me how people believe retail release dates without a second thought.
Square haven't even announed the Japanese release date yet and you think they will tell gamestop...yes GAMESTOP before anyone else..
Retail release estimates are ALWAYS wrong, they just list it for early pre-orders.
As it stands the game will be releasing SPRING 2010.

Two of the S-E games on the 360 are only published by them and not developed (Star Ocean and Infinite Undiscover)
Other then that S-E have been the strongest 3rd party supporters of the PSP so far and have some of the biggest games releasing for it. They're are support the Japanese PSN more then any other Japanese developer.
They have a Japan PS3 exclusive game. (FFXIII)
