As a series veteran diablo 4 is easily the best one ever made. The ammount of content and class balance and different builds is awesome. The 32€ deal for premiun gamepass version and 6 day early acces is tempting, but i dont trust any preorder anymore specially bethesda after redfall. Plus 30fps on series x is laughable. Having redfall vibes and the game looked and played like an ass. Theres no starfield footage that knock my socks off either.
My prediction is the first chosen reviews are 90 but soon drop down to low 80s and high 70s. User scores being even lower.
I did the eyes closed directionality test with sony pulse 3d headset vs 7.1 avr surround and clearly 7.1 is much better. You need to use little imagination to make 3d headset work. Also it have much less sound sources playing and the quality is much lower of course. 3d audio is good but real surround setup is just next level. Ofc much more costly too like 90e sony headset vs 2000e+ full tower 7.1 avr home theatre. 3d audio is good but for truly epic audio surround sound is the better choice. ...
Surround sound speakers beat headset everytime both directionality and specially the quality. You have to be stupid to think 2.0 3d spastial effect from headset beat the experience of being surrounded by highquality tower speakers.
It means ps5 finally have high bitrate audio for hometheatre surround speaker setups. Much higher bitrate than dolby digital. It doesnt require gamespesific support with my xbox everygame run in dolby atmos.
Finally ps5 get true home theatre format. Dolby atmos is superior to tempest even with sony own headset. Not to mention 7.1 and higher setups. Tempest is only becouse sony were too cheap to buy dolby atmos license.
Xbox have had dolby atmos for home theatre and headsets for ages also DTS:X. Both are superior to tempest audio. Still people drool like tempest audio is something special. Heck even tvs from 2017 have 3d audio its nothing special.

I love the gamepass on my series x and rog ally. Atomic heart is a true gem and there are countless good games available. When you want new game gamepass always have something to offer for every1. I never played Mass effect games before and downloading the legendary edition was one of the best decission how to fill my ssd.
Why? The features are not working on pc anyway. But i would like to use it for porn thats the only good thing psvr2 on pc. Pcvr do not magically get the eye tracking or foveated rendering or haptics, it may work as a very basic vr experience. But still it would be unbeatable value with high quality and resolution oled hdr display, if it work properly

Thats why redfalls dont happen with playstation, nor 30fps only/stickers. With xbox marketing and hype is always ahead of what the reality is.

Atleasr with todays 120hz and vrr displays 30fps is alot better than what it used to be. 40fps in 120hz mode feel close to standard 60fps. But they couldnt even do that much just slap 30fps. Xbox unlike playstation can be set always run in 120hz mode this give you the lowest possible input lagg from your tv. My qd oled is 10ms@60hz and 5ms@120hz. Fps doesnt matter 120hz mode is always beneficial.

Starfield is off to a good start. Follow the redfall path. Atleast they dont need the stickers this time. Ofc majority of the pc gamers run it 30fps too. All whose pc cant hit 4k60fps locked in diablo 4 etc similar performance compared to series x play it 30fps right? Or was it that pc you have a choise for 1440p 60fps etc while bethesdas to lazy to give xbox any though just port the pc code over and see how it work without any optimizing.
