Its as though the universe has perfectly aligned to make Microsoft's Xbox console as pathetic as possible or create an illusion, a shame really because I was looking forward to it immensely.

This is rather interesting, would love to play Batman: Arkham Origins on the PS4 (just beat it and loved it) however a new batman game on the PS4 made by rocksteady would be just as sweet.
Shockingly no, apparently the thought never occurred to them to plug it in.
They had both the PS4 and Xbox One up at my local gamestop today, I manged to only get a few seconds on the dashboard for each before the controllers died (lack of battery charge) but I enjoyed the very brief time we all had together.
A shame about the charged controllers though, would have liked to have played around with them a bit more.
Looking forward to a new Mass effect game, while I was hoping for more in Mass Effect 3 when compared to 1 or 2 I still believe it was enjoyably good game.
I'm here hoping that they learn and build a really strong new "mass effect 4" or w/e they're going to call it.
Besides Fios and Twitch, I won't be missing much. Which I suspect that the PS4 will attract more apps eventually in the future.
I feel bad for anyone who is trying to get it launch without pre-ordering or paying upfront. Like almost everyone I know had already pre-ordered either console within moment of availability, with some people waiting a couple weeks to make a decision.
Oh that cloud must be really good to be able to do that offline.
But now i'm going to miss the trouble of typing in a code, finding out I typed something wrong and mindlessly trying to figure out which number or letter is out of place.
That's really sad. I do like to have a wide verity of tracks and cars at my arsenal without required DLC. Isn't the Nurburgring not in the launch?
