I believe Nintendo will release this newer version to the rest of the world. Which is probably why it wasn't been released sooner. This update adds quite a bit.
Although this will most likely not come to the US, it is still cool for completeness of the PC-engine/CD/Duo/Super line from NEC/Hudson on the VC.
I agree on the virtual head movement being bad, as you would need a TV that was as wide as you peripheral vision to be really controllable, or you would get a nasty sore neck from constantly doing short movements to match the relativity of size of the games perspective.
Tetrisphere was awesome. You could just zone out with the music while playing it. Would be nice to see a Wii sequel, maybe using a Wiimote in each hand to spin the Sphere around.
Man this game is looking awesome. Cant wait, looks like it will be very special.
I agree. It's hard to put my finger on what happened with the sequel, but WaveRace 64 was such an awesome experience. Highly underrated IMO. If you can you should try and pick-up the Japanese re-release, which had rumble pak support.
Although Tecmo stock took an initial knee jerk hit off of Itagaki leaving. Now that he is gone, Tecmo can multi platform release its games. Being an exclusive 360 developer in Japan is about as dumb as a business decision as you can get. They should have learned from Sega with the original XBOX.
Guys, why is everyone getting upset over the reviews. The bottom line is the genre for this game is 'interactive movie', it was made for casuals. LoL, yeah it is a casual game. If sitting and watching a game is more hardcore then actually playing one, then well...maybe you are not really 'hardcore'.
LoL, and yeah you can skip the cut scenes, but then what is the sense in that? You will be skipping through over half the 'game'.
Just admit Metal Gear is what it is(and lo...
I'm thinking it's the new Front Mission title.
