Ever since they've released AC2, they've been working on AC3. They release the spinoffs to keep up the hype and to tie up some loose ends.
I agree. I seriously don't mind having a new AC title every year, they make them to make the wait for AC3 easier. It's great that they can make such a good game in just a year, while most developers would make quick rushjobs that could really be called milking. It's not milking as long as it's a good game.
