There's nothing stopping you from doing that with the other consoles, both offer auto start for discs and such, they don't "force" anything on you. Don't blame them if you're too stupid to find that setting. At least the other consoles give you a choice between a complex UI with some customization or auto start.
With switch, you just get this crappy, lazily designed UI. But hey, it's Nintendo, so they get a free pass right?
So let me get this straight: we now have to pay money to Nintendo to play online, and in exchange for this investment, we get month long trials of 20 year old games (not even subscription long trials?), voice chat that isn't even integrated into the console that has to be used with a smart device, video capture features "coming in the future" (why not at launch?).

I'm waiting to get a ps4 pro before I do the campaign, but have heard great things about it, something you really never hear about shooter campaigns unless it's an rpg or a game with rpg like elements (like bioshock).

Not to mention the hong kong version actually has english menus so you know how to play the game. The japanese version is all in japanese language.
The jp psn store only has the jp language version though, so unless you can read japanese, then you should download it from a Hong kong account, as the menus are actually in english.

While I completely agree with you on Uncharted 4, I have to disagree about the amount it's happening elsewhere (gaming wise).
Where are the non white bad guys? Plenty of CoD games have them, or if they aren't non whites, they're still foreign, which ties into racism a bit. I can probably find more if I look. Far Cry 3 had the hispanic fellow (amazing actor btw), even though he wasnt the top dawg, he was advertised as the main baddy.

It's been admitted by a few devs that some characters might have been non whites/females but the publishers made them go with white protagonists instead, due to the fact that it's mostly white males who are the ones buying the game.

While I do own an xbox one, I have maybe 5-7 games for it.
I also own a ps4, and have probably 20 or 30 something for it. Exclusives have either sucked or have been a disappointment in comparison to their previous entries.

I thought I wanted boots on the ground cod as well...until I went back to modern warfare remastered. Not as good or as fun as I remember, although I think it's because they're using inferior net code than the original, so that could be part of the reason.
I actually have moved on from blops 3 to titanfall 2 though, and haven't gone back. Tf2 is the next evolution of the shooter genre imo, and is amazing. I wish I had the desire to go back to blops, since I bough...
Not the same thing. Infinite Warfare is very noticeably worse. Controls aren't as fluid, the graphics and color variety are inferior, the maps aren't as good.
Havent gotten around to the campaign yet (which I hear is good) as I'm waiting on my pro before playing it, but otherwise, it's simply not as good as blops 3. And blops 3 for me was one of the first cods I've liked since black ops 1 (or mw2, whichever came later).
UC4 was the first Uncharted game I didn't like. I agree with it being on this list.
The pacing is horrible in my opinion, the game is like 70% climbing simulator, 30% combat. And the story feels forced and unnecessary. A brother pulled out of thin air, no previous mention of him, not even subtle hints. It's clear that they came up with the brother angle out of thin air.
Oh, and the fact that the ending was altered for the sole purpose of attemptin...
