Its probably a little better than a decent game. I'm gonna rent it instead of buying it though, and if I like it enough, I'll wait to pay 10 less for a used copy of the game.

Actually, yes. But just because a game is overhyped, doesent mean its not good. Just look at Halo and Gears. Mass Effect does not look very good IMO, and from these impressions, it looks like it doesent play very well either. KZ2 may be overhyped, but the graphics from the trailer are not (excluding the cgi video).

If a ps3 game that you didnt expect to be any good gets a very good review from PSM, will you find it credible and admit that you were wrong? I'm still waiting for them to fix the update that f*cked up most of my wmv support, and having no WORKING mp4 support. How do you know this game doesent deserve a 9.6? I could say the same thing about BioShock, that it doesent deserve a 9.7 because its single player only, but I dont because the game is made specifically for that, single player, just like warhawk is made specifically for multiplayer.

The RRoD was enough to worry about then, now I have to worry about a friend request wiping my hard drive? Damn, it seems like the 360 problems are getting worse these days (if this has any truth).
A perfect 10 means nothing in the game can be improved on at all, everything is perfect and it is impossible to make the game any better. Sure, in their own times, mario64 and zelda may have deserved 10's, but for a brand new game in the next generation, that has once had multiplayer (on a handheld nonetheless), then having the next game without any multiplayer is just bs.
The game might be good enough to not care about any multiplayer at all, and it might not, but they should...
