If by "upgradable" you mean you can add attachments to it like cod4, then yes, weapons are upgradable. Instead of a red dot sight, you have something that looks the same, except its a black cross (+) instead of a red dot.

I don't get why people say remakes/liveactionmovies/engli shversionsof etc. will ruin a series. It just provides a different perspective, and if you don't like it, fine, nothing has happened to the original, it wasn't changed at all, and it adds nothing to the story.
Why do people get so pissed off about that and think that those things ruin a series, when it actually doesn't contribute to the original?
