this was a difficult review for me. I was aware of the huge fanbase and that reviewers were giving it rave reviews. But the reviews were not painting the right picture for newcomers. It's not Devil May Cry, it's more like Dark Souls... and not for everyone. If you are a huge Monster Hunter fan the, yes, it's a ten, but everybody else needs to be sure to know what they are getting into.
Totally agree. There's just no way a console with a quarter of the power of a reasonably VR-capable PC can give you an optimal VR experience. The Pro, still half that of a VR-PC, is powerful enough to stop players puking on their living room floor.

Star Wars Battlefront IS Star Wars. I believe the new film is going to get the same sort of backlash from the Gen-Y set who just don't "get it".

It is an ongoing problem- shuffling games on and off a 1TB hard drive. It does only take a couple of minutes to install a new hard drive. It takes 8 hours to back up 1TB and another 8 hours to restore. It takes two seconds to plug a USB drive into an Xbox One.
How much memory do you have? My PC isn't as powerful as yours, but I've 32gigs of memory and I'm wondering if that is what made it work OK, before.
If they've fixed a memory leak and then increase the visual effects it makes sense that my performance would drop and yours increase closer to what you'd expect.
That's interesting, what are you machine specs? How was the game running before?
I agree, the visuals are still a bit iffy, but it's a lot better looking than it was!

I see where you are coming from. The last two games are not as accessible as your usual western RPG. They are a bit heavy going at first, but one you invest the time they are very rewarding. Both gane sat on my hard drive for quite a while before I gave them a good go. I think that W3 is going to try to appeal to the mainstream a little more which may in turn alienate the hardcore.
