This will turn out the same way the last company who tried to tackle Sony over hardware turned out. Remember the dual shock lawsuit a few years back?? MS paid them off and Sony won the lawsuit?

If activision thought it was a rip off it would have never made it this far in development. They would do anything for money including sueing.

I agree it depends on the qulity of the game some developers know this and release there games clearly as budget games for a lower market price. Its the crap like cooking mama thats priced at full whack thats rip off city. But people are idiots for paying for it.. Saying that, this is why piracy is rampant on handhelds.. I don't know a single DS owner now who only plays legit games they all have r4/edge/etc cards. DS sells so well as the games are free!!!

Steam will never come for the simple reason MS wants all of the control over its network its been clear on this since day 1 and no amount of technology will change this. Not to mention STEAM addition would take away MS cut of downloads and give to Valve instead something I seriously cannot see MS doing. Not to mention STEAM is a rival and putting on MS just doesn't seem like its going to happen only Sony seem to be happy to work with there rivals this gen.
Killzone is being treated like every other shooter and being judged right unlike games like halo/cod etc which get 9 and 10s purely on there names alone.

See nintendo are clever here they will drop NDS support like a bad habit soon as 3DS comes out all there latest big name 1st party games will come out for 3DS only history has proved this. Another reason there consoles sell well. It's the only place you can find pokemon/mario/zelda.
Exactly the 3DS will sell well because of the head start. The 360 has proved a head start is enough to get a device to the top.
Only sold same rate over holidays before Kienct it outsold and no doubt it will outsell again after the Kienct boom which has now died down as launch is finished.

Great feature and slowly the ps3 is becoming a swiss army knife of media however I think this feature will be used by a very small portion of users and they should have instead worked on a feature that would have been used by most playstation users.
