Yeah porting to the PS3 from the 360 seems the hardest way to do it but it makes a better looking game at least for PS3. 360 is a lot easier to develop for still for a lot of devs as they still getting used to PS3. *simples*
There was no optional install for ps3 version in fact although the box says it requires like 2gb or something the game does not need ANY install whatsoever. The fact here is Blu-Ray is just as fast as a hard-drive on current gen consoles if used correctly. This also means the DVD copy must be extremely long in the loading times. I would hate to have the 360 version of the game. Thank god I bought the PS3 version and I am loving it.

They wanna beat 360? This certainly isn't the way to do it. They had to be expecting the boost in sale surely? But its not Sonys fault i'm thinking since 360 has sold twice more stores stock more 360s than PS3's and that's where the shortages have appeared. The stores didn't prepare for this. Of course it's gonna change quick quick now like with the wii. Nintendo opened a crap load more manufacturers for the demand and seems Sony have to now too if it isn't the stores of course..

I really hope we get a premium service where I can upload my protected saves to a cloud storage area. So if my PS3 ever dies or I need to switch my HDD I can just re-download the game saves. I would really pay for the convenience and piece of mind if my PS3 ever dies I can rest knowing my saves are safe. Forget trophys I don't care what people think of me I want my saves stored safely.
Not a problem on my copy and i'm near the end of Chapter 11 after just beefing my characters fora few hours. This sounds like a 360 fanboy jealous somebody got a superior copy.. Want to stay on top with graphics?? Stick with PC then... If you really wanna do the console thing than your backing the wrong console if you stick with 360 for Gears and multi-platform will not help the graphics either. Honestly its basic tech..

Its official the biggest chain games retailer in the UK now support the PS3 first and foremost. I mean they will now push PS3's so people in turn will visit there HOME space and see their ads. It's called business sense. You will see PS3 sales in UK go up because of this.
