They said they wouldn't show versus if they couldn't get a demo done in time. They changed the map system at last minute didn't they? So they said that might affect there ability to get an E3 demo.

The thing with this is who would care about netflix if you have a better alternative?? Netflix can get as angry as they like and if they wanna tackle Sony. They could just remove there license to stream Sony Pictures movies.. I reckon they should do that anyways if this service goes live as nothing worse than competing with yourself.

Indeed they are without them MS would be a lot poorer. As rich as they are they need investors to expand into new projects otherwise they would just stick to software. It's investors money that gets spent on these exclusives and NATAL projects while they wait for the money to come back from games sales etc..

However multi-platform lowers the standards of games this is a fact as devs find it a lot cheaper to port from one to another than work on both consoles simultaneously of course not everything will port if you work this way so you gotta make cuts so you can port it ...
The problem with FIFA games is they lack mistakes in the game like every things too perfect. Referees never make mistakes linesmen catch the smallest of offsides so nobody makes a mistake in the game. This doesn't happen in real life. I wasn't a bit of realism in the game I want them to make mistakes though not often maybe once every 50 offsides if its super close.
So we are yet again comparing a finished game to one in the making?? And those shits released are most likely touched up shots too....
Yeah if your already logged in your safe as houses so to speak you can continue to use online services as normal just the store is down it will say its not available in your region meaning its down. If you log out however you will not be able to log back in.
Probably getting it ready for something they will announce at E3. Or clearing out the old demos etc.. as those servers will build up a lot of crap over the years. We probably won't find out wither when they open again we will either have to wait till E3 or a Sony rep to tell us its nothing.
