The 3D screen alone it uses is like $200 they would have to take a HUGE hit to release at this price. The technology is still extremely new.

PS+ blows it away as XBL gives you nothing in terms of value everything you get from XBL is worthless after 12 months you are left with nothing to show for it.
The thing about move is you dont have to buy both controllers at once. At no point are you forced to buy them both as most games will allow one with a dualshock. I don't know about you buy buying my controllers seperate over time is a lot more acceptable than a big lump sum of 150 (which is the price of a console!) for an accessory. No Single accesory should be the price of a console no matter what it does.

This is why MS are always a step behind. They were behind with HDMI, Behind with Nex Gen Disc Format, Behind in Hard Drives (PS3 future proof as acepts SSD) and behind in USB drives (only just allowing save transfer via usb). Now they are gonna be behind when it comes to 3D nothing new really. The 360 is always in the middle of the 3 consoles technologically.
Not everything just the minis and games you keep all addons/themes and avatars that's like £4-£7 a month worth of content. Over a year thats £48-£84+ worth of content this isn't including the discounts you get and not including the games you get to play each month while on it. Also not including all the other benefits either like trials etc.. You would be made to miss it..
It's better than I thought I love the free addon DLC stuff each month especially since you don't lose it if you lapse your sub.
And that entire catalogue of PS1 games are all playable on PS3 not 360 not Wii, PS3! So people who complain about no backwards compatability gotta remember it has some of the best ever library of RPGs ever made.
