I agree if it don't get blocked ps3 game sales will suffer console sales will rocket though.. Sony announce not long ago they have the highest attach rate right now and that was all down to piracy on the other 2 contenders.
You cannot play online unless you have latest firmware. I would call that forcing.. Also newer games will require it .
Hardly any will sell at that price point most people will be waiting for 2 things.
1. A cheaper version (theres gonna be loads)
2. To see if Sony blocks it within weeks and if not and it's cheap enough they will buy.
Agreed look at EA's new create game. Although its not on LBP level it is copying LBP in a way which makes LBP a new leader in a brand new category of games. I love create, share and play games they are great and I think MS should stop being so uptight with XBL rules and allow these type of games on 360 so everybody can enjoy great games.

MS mobile gaming seemed okay I guess but I think the major announcement from MS is that it's no longer concentrating on 360 as its major platform and looking at other avenues as 360 now has stability without MS constantly pushing it. I just wonder without the constant adverts and buying up exclusives will the 360 last as long as the PS3?

I agree that's why Sony should push it more in Europe like MS do in America. Ms knows where there sales lie so spend more money on America than Europe and reap the rewards. Sony should do the same with Europe and really push the boat.
Hmm a bit on topic (as its in the article) but off topic (from the description) I am more pumped for Guild Wars 2 more than Crysis/Move/Kinect put together.
And they say ps3 getting hacked this week was the biggest piracy news? Trust MS to always trump it. They hate Sony getting the limelight :p LOL. But yeah... makes you wonder why devs like Bungie are now going multiplatform with this happening with EVERY major games release don't it?
Kinect is already in Mass Production ready for sale. It is a finished product as is PS Move.. GT 5 isn't.. Kinect takes a long time to manufacture compared to a blu-ray game thus they need to start early. MS have already acknowledged the design sent out for latest reviews is the final product. I mean if it wasn't finished yet MS would struggle getting out to market on time.

Article is pure fail he uses Dragon Age in his second example acknolowdging it exists thus proving point 1 completely void as DA:O had faster loading times on PS3. Seems 360 fanboys are crying about a game coming to PS3 they never had exclusive anyways!
You post a theory about piracy lowering sales then post 360 in the same comment. Epic Fail.. Piracy has boosted 360 sales soo much and RROD combined with piracy was golden as you couldn't send your broken 360 to MS to be repaired as it was modded.
The thing is this mod comes with a backup loader built on so its never gonna be legal. As for removing USB thats stupid as poeple wouldn't be able to charge controllers if they have no other USB ports on anything else so won't happen. A simple firmware update will block it dead. Since you need to upate to latest firmware to play online it will kill online play too.

Hmm amazing its finally done surprised it took so long no doubt a firmware update will block the dongle though and new games will require this new firmware. See unlike the MS way its not flashing its a backup loader from USB they can block this with a simple update.. So if you fancy no future ps3 games then go for it.

They already do block people going onlinw who dont have latest firmware unless its a minor fix. PSN servers check your firmware when connecting.
