1.8 million to put that in perspective Forza 3 sold under half a million worldwide on its first week. So since those 360 boys like to say sales = success I think we have a winner? Or is numbers not important when it's a PS3 game? Either way we don't have GT5s exact numbers for the week but its supposedly in the region of 2.4 million 5 times the sales of Forza and almost beating forza total sales (3.3 million) in it's first week..
@Shazz thats exactly what I was thinking! Also you dont have to do the first driving test to race you can skip them all if you like but it opens up new cars and races for you. The choice though is all about arcade and simulation. I got Burnout for arcade and no other game comes close and GT5 for simulation. Hahaha I love silly comments like this all my friends on my friends list who have been playing black ops have now gone back to playing MW2 I asked why and they said it wasn't as good. See now most of MW's bugs are patched and the fact it is a superior game makes people switch back. Most people who prefer black ops over MW2 do so because it's the new game feeling you when playing it. I traded my Black Ops in for GT5 and definitely DONT regret it best trade EVER.
This is why I love PS3 because I love my RPG's it's why I was an early adopter of 360 and after 3 deaths am now sticking where all the all the RPG's are at :)

Strikeforce was a horrible game anyway I played the demo and didnt buy it. The first in the series I have never bought. The whole jumping around on platforms bit was the most annoying thing ever.
The only peopels expectations that were exceeded were the haters and the fanboys like IGN who were trying to find faults with the best racing sim made upto date.
Thsi is why it was held back I heard its running in a mild capacity at one point by spoofing but you could only run arcade mode or something.
Not all as there are more standard cars 800+ compared to the 750 in GT4.
Standard cars are pretty on the level of premium just without the extra details. Dunno where these pics came from but they are doctored in some way As I drive standard cars all the time and they look lovely in 1080p on my 42" Plasma. In fact I choose standard mostly over premium as I don't wanna damage premium cars.
Cool will do that I wish they wouldn't do this license thing on EVERY GAME. It's beyond annoying as theres always one you can't get gold on for that car..
Yeah thats a good spot.. Guess these sites will do anything to make there game look better it's sad really.. I don't get the big deal though so one looks better than another so what? As long as you enjoy the game on your console of choice it don't matter. If your on both consoles and have to choose well here's a good rundown.

Hmm the comparison though is 720p Forza therefore is stretched no? Also GT5 works at a lovely 1080p so in that comparison well Forza wouldn't stand a chance seeing as it cannot even do basic HD @720p. Lens of truth is a good link as they say loading times are pretty much the same in GT5 and Forza and GT basically only has slight screen tearing due to 16 cars on screen something Forza cannot even do at sub HD.

GT5 is a marvel of a game everybody should play it for a couple of hours and I promise you won't be disappointed. I don't buy racers normally I only own burnout in my collection of 47 games but needed to trade in Black Ops while value was still high so took a punt on GT5 (even though I HATED GT4) and I LOVE it.
I think everybody can agree (even fanboys) that IGN are the biggest dissapointment of 2010.. I used to use them all the time after years of reading gamespot I changed my flags due to superior unbiased reviews and great thoughts on them. Now they just got mental. They want every game to be perfect unless it's in there favourite list e.g. GTA IV in which it immediately gets a pass no matter how buggy or bad it is. GTA V is a marvel of a game and reviews aside no other driver can match it in...
LOL its really funny that 360 fanboys say crap like thrust did as if Kinect did start selling 360s like crazy they would drop all there best titles and concentrate on that and the fanboys would actually lose out. They praise Kinect as its on 360 but in reality they hate it too as it potentially has the power to destroy the console they love we are already seeing its effect with the total lack of exclusives.
So Xbox 360 sales are up 4,400? Still not enough of an impact. PS3 increased by more than 360 sold in it's entirety (360 sold 7083, PS3 sold 7944 MORE PS3's than last week). People would take my comment as being a fanboy but I am just trying to get across MS will not be happy with only a 4k increase in sales. Especially as they probably spent millions in Japan too and 4k at launch means they won't ever get that investment back.
Mentioning EMAA is good as look at the american sales for reach.. 4.5 million in US and 1.5 million in EMAA... You Americans really like shooters.. Then again it's America you guys all have guns in your houses..
