They are 3 million ahead now and that's because of a year+ head start in which they sold over 8 million consoles so Sony has caught up by 5 million. I don't think people understand everybody is taking over MS territory now. With Googles O/S coming out in a few years to rival windows MS have been looking in other avenues but it seems the gaming market is too competitive to make a quick buck and MS have found this out the hard way. They have tried to make up for it though by ripping off there customers who allow them to for some weird reason.

Thing with MS and there owners is they went about this gaming generation all wrong I mean sure it's gonna net them millions of consoles sold but at what cost really? My 60gb died last year and I got an 80GB (now has a 500gb drive inside) I miss PS2 games sure but I still got my PS3 and the 80gb hasn't failed me. My 60gb lasted since launch and outlasted 2 360's out of the 3 in total I bought (not at once of course). So I am sticking with it. This article is obviously wrote because of the kinect is coming so I am getting a ps3 article that was released earlier in the week. It's probably even wrote by somebody who never had a PS3.
I feel sorry for all those who own 360s who dont want there console to go the way of the wii.

Nintendo is fighting PS2 sales in reality as it doesn't match the 360 and PS3.. Just because its out at the same time doesn't mean it's competing with them. The PS2 blows the wii away in terms of graphics..
PS3 will surpass 360 in 2011 no doubt..

Meh it's not worth the price simple as. No matter how much marketing you put on it people are gonna be turned away at that price point. It may work really well but until it drops less than the actual console then it's not gonna sell very well. Whats the point of buying Kinect when I can get a wii for the same price??

Yep only a few devs continue to support a game so long after launch and these games become shining examples of what yo can do. Criterion probably did the biggest changes as they basically made burnout paradise into a whole new game.
You obviously don't get the point do you?? He sees the direction MS are heading for the 360 and its not looking bright for hardcore gamers. MOVE has nothing to do with it as Sony are still staying multi-genre when it comes to gaming. So instead of paying $for an accessory that's half the price of a PS3 he got a PS3. Weird I came home after buying a PS2 (wanted a PS2 instead of a 360) for my kids christmas pressie and saw that it was PS2's birthday. Anyways I think this will be our houses 3rd PS2 in it's life and not one ever died on me just always got rid of mine in the past. Great for RPG enthusiasts (though not better than ps1) but even better as a family console.
