@wxer dont forget these are minutes they were probably mentioning ideas of characters and these got mentioned and noted there obviosuly not for the Sony PS3 version.
so not only are we getting ps2 emulation we are getting exclusive dreamcast games? No doubt crazy taxi and sonic games are gonna be in their.
its not an MS franchise! plus they only paid for 2 games! they have no rights to anything with the 3rd game its completely down to epic now!

I think this game is actually doing us all a favour its showing us who the real reviewers are and who the reviewers on MS payroll/caught in the hype are.

I agree with Greywulf as long as its called Halo no matter how terrible it is it will get 9 out of 10 from most places and people will buy it though lets be fair the same could be said for games like call of duty. the FPS genre is a state right now and we need to get some new material Sonys doing good with resistance and Killzone and MS with Gears but we need more!
Lets be honest these guys are gamers and they would be mad to miss the opportunity. This isn't about fanboyism or marketing or anything else just a bunch of guys enjoying a great game. Wouldnt surprise me if you saw Naughty Dog devs playing Alan Wake or Mass Effect 2.

I agree motion controls won't do anything for the big boys except cancel each other out. People care too much about getting one over another these days than actually enjoying the new technology's. I think there will be a few good games for each console to take advantage of the natal/sony motion+ and it will die off just like the eye toy did. Either way its not the ps3's fault it shabby developing but the game was obviously rushed to beat fFrza and GT5 to the market as theres no way in hell it would have sold if it came out around the same time as them. Watch it sell for £10 on Ebay the week after Forza 2 launches.
no doubt the 360 fanboys will cast this off as a sony fanboy review by a nobody though.. The first honest review by a non swayed reviewer. Was waiting for this. Its exactly like Final Fantasy 11 without the Final Fantasy name that MMO would have closed down a year after release. This game will do the same it will live on the Halo name just as FF11 lived on the FF name.
Any comparison can go any way you like depending on what you compare they obviously compared stuff they knew Forza would beat GT5 in they put up graphics/realism/game modes etc.. which GT5 would have beat Forza at. These comparisons are stupid and need to stop. PS owners will get GT, 360 owners Forza and dual console owners will probably get both..

Okay as you people above annoy me so much about the uncharted comparisons then fair is fair... Killzone 2 got higher scores than Halo 3 ODST from IGN US and IGN US are known for giving better scores to 360 exclusives. Resistance 2 even got a higher score with 9.5 both out in 2009.. So if score really is THAT important to you and you really want to argue about type of game which is pathetic really.. Also rampant you said about sub HD graphics??? Halo 3 isn't even 720p!!! you idiot! its not eve...
8/10 from IGN AU & 8.6 from IGN UK so its a matter of opinion really. This is a below 9 average game meaning its NOT AAA status before fanboys keep going on about it. Not to say its not gonna be great for fans of the series. You can slate me as much as you want for saying it but it's not the console seller and it was never gonna be. You should be looking forward to Forza more than this game really as thats something revolutionary for 360 anyways unlike this game.
