Wow, I don't know how I ever played my Gameboy, GBA, DS, 3DS XL, PSP or PSVita. They all have a lower PPI than the switch. My s7 has 577ppi, It doesn't make Vita unplayable with only 220. Get real.
Also, the CPU doesn't underclock ever, only the GPU. Switch has plenty of things to complain about, but at least get something right.

I played some splatoon today, more of the same with improvements is a great thing.

While TV panel itself can display at 120hz, HDMI 2.0 can't handle it at 4k. At least if you don't want to use 4:2:0, dropping color data. Auto motion plus adds over 100ms of delay as well.
I have the ks8500 myself, it's the best tv for gaming I could find. You just have to use the right settings.

It's still exactly the same as it was, only with a paywall. Only on PS4 aswell. PS3 and Vita still have free online multiplayer. PSN hasn't improved and they don't have dedicated servers.
XBL and PS+ are one of the reasons I've moved almost completely to PC. Few exclusives even make use of it, anyway. FFXV, Horizon Zero Dawn, Gravity Rush 2, etc etc don't have multiplayer, or just have social media junk tacked on.
It is quite funny, but not quite as funny as seeing people argue about half-precision floating point integers. HDR has only recently come to mass market TVs. It's about 2 lines of code to turn it on in direct x anyway, instead of throwing out the extra data. Next up is real-time use of Mental Ray... some day.

If you know how and where to shop, you can build an equivalent, or a little better, PC for $500 at most.
Both XBox One and PS4(pro aswell) use AMD jaguar APUs, so you may as well go by AMD prices. Windows 10 can be bought for $20, or for free even if you don't mind being watched. RX470 for $160, which is more powerful than what's in the PS4 pro. The rest can be bought even cheaper in combo deals.
From what the devs and early play testers have said, it sounds like it will be close to ME1's style of worlds with combat like ME3's MP.
I nearly hate ME2: Thermal clips, global cooldowns, no exploration, and no real continuity with ME1. Everything was "dumbed-down" to appeal to a completely new and different audience. It's the PC version, which NRS and WB have dropped support for. So only buy if you want it for single player content.

It's 125 million *active* users. As of right now there are 9.5 million online. PSN has about 20 million PS+ users. XBOX Live Gold has around 50 million.
So Wii U sold about 14 or 15 million consoles total, they are being a little too optimistic about the switch, imo.
