Agreed, but Season 9 was really fun in my opinion. The current season is bland, and I mean what more can Epic do to entice players to stick around?
I wouldn't go as far as using that language and wanting someone banned, but I definitely agree that anyone would appreciate being in a $400,000 tournament. That's the thing with these pro players, they've become numb to the idea of having success playing video games. Now, it's either the event isn't big enough, or the prize pool means nothing.
The thing with him is that he's also an esports host. So companies hire him to be the host of major events. You'd figure he'd play it safe when all eyes are on him in a tournament. Now he's considered a loose cannon.
Appreciate the review, and I'm holding judgment. It's just one of those games I have to get, despite the whole "modern" debate. I'll just let nostalgia settle in and perhaps that will be enough for me to ignore any faults the game might have. But considering that they gave a review of 7, that's good enough for me.
Believe it or not, I've changed my controller 5 times through a warranty with GameStop due to the grips and bumpers. Because I was playing a lot of CoD, I found the grips would come off, and the buttons stopped performing as needed. It will be interesting to see how this one will fair, considering Xbox did rigorous tests with the first gen.
