At least I didn't die as often as in Dark Souls :) Or might be that I got better in the years.
From what I've seen the game will be hard but not as hard as Dark Souls. It should be more accessible to more players.

Same here, although I don't look back with nostalgia at the combat system from older FF titles (FF VII - FFX)
The more i watch it, the more the graphical style begins to annoys me.

Too bad I haven't checked out the paid White Chapel theme that was released as well. In general I refuse to pay for a 'theme'. I guess I Have to wait for some pictures to show up.

We played the game at last Gamescom as the Heroes and found the game pretty fun. Can't tell for how long though.
Oh the good old times when you just bought the cassette and enjoyed it - no updates, just a good game.

Remember that that video is considered a 'speedrun' while skipping everything that can be skipped. As said you're really gimping yourself with a game as this.
I do feel the game had a bad start to begin with. Right from the moment the game was announced the critics we're on the game like vultures.
A lot of reviews are geared towards the 'too short' component but when you take into consideration that in the 90's console games were shorter than this but cost the same that doesn't seem to be a valid point. Didn't we have a great time back then?
