one of my friends got a near death experience to his xbox, it showed rrod for a couple of seconds but then worked after that normally, after a couple of weeks it got permanent rrod. I advice you to back up your data

I learned something, anything, ANYTHING sony does for playsation 3 is a negative and a step towards its grave. even an updates that adds neat features and fix bugs.
on the other hand, anything, ANYTHING microsoft does for xbox360 is a step forward , a system seller , and a huge blow to sony

you forgot one important thing
xbox fanboys calculate the cost differently
you might think , because you are a smart guy, that the cost should be = component A + component B + component C + ...
but in those peoples minds the cost is calculated :
cost = Max( A, B , C , ...) = $199 no more no less
no, the game is good, they should just implemented PSN IDs like any other game out there.
not to mention online region lock. I cant play with my friends who have UK version. and my best friend who was almost 24/7 on MGO , like me, in the summer had a UK version. we couldnt play together <angry>
yea not using PSN IDs is the biggest flaw of MGO. Most people dont bother go make TWO usernames and passwords just to log in to the game. and if you bought the expansion pack you will find yourself begging people to play with you on the new maps just to discover that very few poeple actually bought the map pack. I cant see the point in releasing the second map packs. the game is really really cool and smart and very entertaining. but konami killed it with its stupidity. why not make use of PS...
if I can remember correctly, recent statistics showed that number of PSN users is almost the same as number of xbox Live users. so no, Live doesnt have advantage in number of players. only advantage is the more friendly chat options.
