The Xbone B/C is NOT real B/C anyways, it downloads a digital version and does not play from your discs. Trust me, MS is soon going to be overwhelmed with the amount of testing that all these new digital 360 games are going to need before they can be added to the B/C library. This feature will soon be defunct.

The figures are to use in-game. You place each figure on the pedestal that comes with the game and it then gets scanned into the game. Afterwards you level up each figure, so you can bring your figure with you to friends houses and all your leveling comes with you.

Not all of us are poor as shit, even if this thing is $300 i'll get it. This is a must have peripheral and the experiences obtained from this thing will be incredible, making the high price totally justified.
