A port of what for the DSi?
It seems that you think that, aside form the 3D screen, the 3DS is just a DSi (correct me if I'm wrong). This couldn't be further from the truth. The 3DS is an entirely new, more powerful machine with a ton of new features, and in time it's sure to have a huge library of games you simply cannot get on the DSi or anywhere else. I understand that you don't want to or can't use the 3D effect, but that's not all there is to the ...
What would be the purpose? How about playing all the high-quality exclusives that are bound to release for it?

And yet, Sony, we will be seeing portable 3D-enabled devices vastly outselling 3D-enabled HDTVs for a very long time (starting. . . oh, around February-March this year). :P

So many Sony fanboys, the HHG included. Makes me laugh, especially when I think back to 2005 and remember all of this same nonsense playing out in exactly the same way. XD
No one has yet to be "pwn'd", people. Let the systems battle it out and (if you can afford it and are an actual gamer who likes games) enjoy both of them while they do. :)
It would be great if they released this at $250. I'd snatch it up at launch. I still think it'll end up being $300 or more, though. :/

DO NOT avoid Epic Mickey, Metroid: Other M, Brawl, Wii Motion Plus, or The Conduit. Great games (and peripheral); and in the case of The Conduit, good game. >_>

No, they are not overrated, for the most part. These games are amazingly well made and polished and deserve a ton of praise. My favorite new franchise this gen. :)
It's when people make claims about their excessive originality and innovation that I think they start going too far. :P There's nothing wrong with being unoriginal, as long as the game is made well.
They fail immediately for not realizing that Wii is, in fact, of the same gen as 360 and PS3. :/
