Instead of calling out what you describe as fanboy comments, why don’t you tackle the fact that bigpappy used price and time for not being a multi console owner, but then stated that he is more than happy with his recent purchase of Kinect.
I find it strange that any gamer serious enough to come to this site, would choose that combination of purchases, but then use an excuse to valid that choice that at the same time also contradicts it.

You don’t have time to play Uncharted, but you do have time to play Kinect which is only £80 less expensive than a brand new PS3 (£80 = half the cost of Live).

No... and with the smaller screen it won't have to be to achieve some stunning handheld graphics that could be similar to the PS3. Maybe.
I just said in the other duplicate story that Sony have to stike a balance between software profit and keeping the companies that sell their hardware happy.
It's a difficult one because if ithe DD was cheaper than the retail version then all the third party distrubtors (Amazon, Game, Play etc etc) would be pissed off and feel cut out of the equation.
That would be one of a few reasons for this price.

There are 3 collections available with a total of 8 games.
Did I play any PS2 games with my 60 gb Launch ps3? No.
Have the collections offered me something new to motivate me to replay these games again? Yes.
Would I be motivated to play 1000's of old games on my PS3 having already played the ones I wanted to play on my PS2? No.
