They only disabled counterfeit devices not 3rd party devices in general. If you bought a 3rd party controller at a place like Gamestop or Best Buy then it will work. It just won't work with cheap fake controllers and stuff that people buy on EBay. USB storage devices and the such still work.
I'm skipping Call of Duty and getting Medal of Honor instead.

I don't care what this game is. If it has Crapcom involved then I won't be buying it. I like Level-5 but I won't support Crapcom.
On top of that this strengthgamer site is garbage. I blacklisted it as soon as I saw them trying to act like reviewers.
