Why not compare the two games. I mean it was acceptable to compare tomb raider sales to the new Tomb raider that just released or was that acceptable because it was exclusive to the X1.

I'm Pretty sure sony knew the state of SF5 before it released. Just like I'm sure sony and capcom thought gamers would have been OK with this since this kind of practice has been going on for awhile.

Well many gamers have said they like how they are breaking up FF7 and maybe capcom wanted to get in on that since many would pay for it. Don't blame capcom, blame the people who buy it and accepts it cause it maybe exclusive to a platform. Blame the reviewers who gave this game high score because of the Dev or Pub. But will score many other games low for having missing content.

When I bought my ps4 they where showing off the game. Which got me interrested in the game. I've even seen videos with Japanese players playing it. Which again made me want it. How was I to know they would stop talking about or showing it or even give any detail.

I agree. I sold my ps4 and haven't looked back or regret my decision to do so. Only game I wanted on ps4 was deep down. Since they haven't talked about the game. Its safe to say im not waiting years for it to release. Must ofthe other games like no mans sky is coming to PC. So other than those two games. Im not interested in anything else.

capcom has this business model for years now. From them taking content out the game. To hiding content behind a pay wall that's already on the disk. This is nothing new to people who already knows how capcom operates.

As a Xbox one and PC owner. I didn't feel like waiting a year for DLC. Since it's not on PC is also another reason I didn't buy it.

Apparently you clearly took what he said out of context. He said he doesn't have control over IP's they don't own and that they wanted to focus more on creating new IPs. Which at the time people was complaining about the tomb raider exclusivity.

MS doesn't own the Alan wake IP, But Remedy doesn't want to take it any place other than MS. Which is why they where working on a sequel when they came up with the QB IP which MS does own. ...

He said he doesn't have any plans for a Xbox one version. Which could be a reason so many pirated his game. Not saying it's all Xbox one owners. But I'm sure many may have a capable PC. SF5 and no mans sky could be next to be pirated
