Whoever that 'youtoober' was at the EA show choked it big time.
Likely held back by the deal with Sony. MS should have never let Bungie go. Biggest studio mistake they've made with acquiring and influencing Rare a close second.
This is an opinion article so it's not right or wrong or factual. Again Sony showed games with no release dates and lots of cutscenes. A retread of 2016 with an expanded look at "Spider-Man: Quicktime Event". They were also too chicken to show GT Sport so it wouldn't be compared to Forza. MS, on the other hand, did an ok job with the X, lots of "timed" exclusives and some ok first party but check-swung on Crackdown and chickened out on showing us the future (which ...
There's no way this game will meet everyone's expectations.
Another bull crap article from the original source. Enough with the conspiracy b.s. The system will be fine and the games look great.
Be honest. It was boring as hell for most of it. The demos were way too long and the stuttering in AC4 was awesome. What made all the difference was the last 10 minutes. That portion was really great and sold me on PS4. Jack was loving it and the crowd was really pumped.
This article is full of errors. It says Sony has backwards compatibility. Also says not sure about charging for online. Both wrong
Real steal points are the base price and the DRM. Still think the MS exclusives looked better and the common games looked a little better on PS4. Both are awesome.
MS moving forward with blinders on. Mandatory Kinect and DRM are the issues. It's only software so eat some crow, change the code, and don't concede a $100 price difference at launch.
Not damage control. It's a fair comparison for similar features when you make the initial purchase.
People were thinking you would't see a difference between current and next gen. This one title proves there is a major difference. Looks awesome.
I HATE two things about this. Controlling what I can do with the disc to resell it and knowing sometime in the future the authentication servers will be off and games become bricks. MS has some damage control to do based on perceived price differences so I'm hoping they at least match the PS4 policy.
As far as price diff there's only a $10 diff for similar experiences at launch. X1 is 500 + 20 for headset and comes with one year of Live. PS4 400 + camera 60 + PS+ 50...
You're missing one point. X1 Day One Edition comes with 12 months of Live Gold. So for similar capabilities you pay:
X1 500
Headset 20 estimate
Total $520
PS4 400
Camera 60
PS+ 50
Total $510
Basically a tie. Extra controllers and games all cost the same. The real difference is that you don't need to buy the PS4 camera and their DRM and online policies are better. PS4 on paper is more powerful b...
I just invested in a nice 4K set so let's get the pre-orders going Phil!
