I don't feel anything about Linkle? It really doesn't matter, "Link" is canonically NOT the same character per game. So what if one of the "Retelling" or "Reincarnations" of the legendary hero is a female variant? The brilliant thing about the canon of Zelda is that each game can be its own entity separate from the other ones. I say celebrate that creative freedom. Male or female, I'm totally ambivalent.
Whether or not I agree with his opinion bad article is bad, for two reasons.
In the article, by his own admission he states he only played to the first boss before giving up, which means he only finished the tutorial. It takes more than finishing the tutorial of a game, nevermind an RPG to judge a game.
