I think it's 720p@30 fps like the first one. But gameplay is smooth and without hiccups :)
This demo isn't for beta testers only, I got one (no beta tester), but a friend of mine, who is tester, didn't got one..

That's not true, 720p can be viewed in 60 fps, but 1080i sticks at 30 because of the interlacing, considering 1 frame is a complete frame. So that "double speed" you are talking about is bullsh...
That's also the reason why 720p is superior to 1080i IMO :)
