Why...why make an Elder Scrolls MMO
The whole reason people love the ES is because they are great single player experiences.
If people want to play on an MMO they'll go on the other MMO games already out.
This will have nothing on the main games
It shouldn't even be getting an MMO <sigh>

When will people learn, these people are going to say it wasn't as good three months after it comes out, why don't they learn from their mistakes.
It's a shame good games will never achieve CODs sales and yet they are better with good developers behind them who deserve success after the hard work they put into their game
I'm seeing a lot of "Who cares about story/graphic" articles but the thing is if it was any other game but COD it would matter and when the time comes for it to get reviewed it would of already lost marks. This better not get a free pass again
Rockstar don't have that many haters, they are one of the most respected developers out there.

They are copying COD with some of the new changes
Instead of doing what Halo has done best for it's online they are trying to add COD elements to capture a bigger audience...even though it will sell a ton anyway.
Halo has nearly always been balanced, with these changes I doubt it's going to be much longer. Think I'll stick to Halo 3/Reach for the online. Uncharted did exactly the same, they added COD like changes and ...
I got it for the "wow" factor then it was left gathering dust.
The least they could of done was release a gamecube styled controler for both audiences and left core gamers play with that instead. Turning the Wii sideways just isn't the same
It's the reason I couldn't enjoy Zelda SS as much, if it was released close to when the Wii came out where I had the motivation to jump and move my arms about then fair enough.

He's saying keep an open mind, that things don't always play out in the good way. Basicaly don't let hype consume you because of the developer/game so you'll blindly like something you've convinced yourself is going to be amazing for months IF IT DOES END UP turning out to be a letdown.

They pick whether they like the "idea" of something not if it will actually work. It's the reason why hype plays a big part in a games review scores and even sales.
Look at Elder Scrolls as you've mentioned, gamers like the idea of online being added but don't think about what would actual happen longterm if Bethesda did add the feature.
