The 3ds sold damn well.
more like it bridges the gap between zelda and paper mario/mario kart
maybe in 10 years at the current pace. but the gens wont last that long

it evens out when you take into account the other regions
so really they havent made ground
and the 3ds didnt even launch in a holiday wi=hich makes me think holiday sales when all the big first party stuff comes out will be insane

i dissagree. if realism is all thats going to be done on it (like some would argue the consoles) then the full potential will never be maximized. The same unoriginality will haunt this system like the consoles. Just a worry

a ngp phone is never going to happen. If they were going to do it. They would of done it and launched it along side the ngp.Instead they basically allowed sony ericson to borrow certain things and make there phone sony certified. But its gimped in terms of gaming potential(cant run psp games, not as graphically strong as the psp, you have to redownload psx games because its not a playstation product) so it wouldnt mess up the ngp.
Sony sees seperate markets. As they should. ...
we havent heard anything really for the ngp related to games yet.
And what we have heard aside from uncharted the psp has had games from the same series as well (killzone, resistance, lbp)
and price everyone is predicting will be 299 or over (patcher, all the other analysts, developers)
^ all they said is they expect it in 2-3 years. Your making the rest up yourself.
And have the development costs made this gen better? not really.

sounds meh to me.
I want to see more of kingdom hearts 3ds, rocket slime, versus and whatever other real handheld titles are bing worked on
