I'm not proud of the fact that I sometimes forget the Wii U is still a console people are excited for. Though I am keeping my fingers crossed you get your wish with Bayonetta 3!
What kind of rumors? Come on now, you can't leave me with a cliffhanger of a statement like that. :)
I knew I'd get a burn for that, but I couldn't go back and edit! I really meant up until recently, aside from Bloodborne the biggest thing on PlayStation for a long time had been Destiny getting some extra content on PS4. :)
I see what you're saying but I can't say I completely agree. Because then I feel like gaming consoles would become just like iOs and Android devices (in a loose sense). Without console exclusives PlayStation and Xbox can essentially do the same things with the exceptions being in the machine and the OS.
I love my PlayStation 4 to pieces, but it's been bumming me out for quite a while that the biggest exclusives seem to be in the form of oddball DLCs.
It looks great for sure and probably a must have for a Batman fan or collector. If I didn't already have a PS4 I would heavily consider picking this one up. But I don't think it's worth trading in my current PS4 for it.
I agree completely! There's nothing I want more than for news of Fallout 4 to be true. I'm sure the game is inevitable as I believe that franchise is too strong to ever fade away. But I also know that Bethesda is really good at keeping their cards close to their chest. If anything was or ever is teased by someone involved with one of their projects I firmly believe that info was put out into the wild with their consent. That doesn't mean that teaser belongs to the title we want it...
While I love the idea of a Portal movie, I'm skeptical about whether or not it could actually work. Story wise it's there and even the dialogue could be golden! But part of what makes Portal so fun is learning how to better utilize the portals and get through the various puzzles. I don't know if watching someone do that on screen for two hours would be nearly as appealing.
Nice work on the article! I completely agree that current generation graphics are serving the horror genre very well. However, I think there is still something to be said for the scare power found in the titles of previous console generation such as the Silent Hill or Fatal Frame series. The graphic power of the PS4 does indeed help to add a layer of realism to these types of games over all, but I don't think they are needed to make a good title. More that the higher end graphics are grea...
I couldn't agree more! I've been attending PAX East since it started and have been on all sides of event as an attendee, exhibitor, and media badge holder. It was very obvious at that first PAX East that the event had outgrown the Hynes Convention Center and the move to the Boston Convention Center has been a welcomed choice. It wasn't until Saturday of this years PAX East that I truly felt like the event was once again bursting at the seams and may need a new home. The good news ...
Really curious to see what "Raid Mode" ends up being like on this title. Anytime I hear the word raid connected to a game I generally think of more MMO style fighting. Sounds like Resident Evil's raid mode may be more of a standard multiplayer though. Guess we wait until March 31st to see!
I'm very interested to see how the Wii U holds up long term. I'd be even more interested to see if they can get some newer franchises going in addition to building off the old faithfuls. They have the chance to provide a really unique game play experience to their audience, but I don't think we'll see the Wii U hitting it's full potential for sometime.
Just to clarify: In the article I am ONLY talking about the side scroller Super Mario Bros. game that has been ported repeatedly over the years. I am not talking about any other Mario games. "I’m not attacking the Mario franchise as a whole (though it should be noted that the character has been featured in over 200 games since his inception), we’re only considering the classic side scrolling Super Mario Bros. games for the purpose of this rant."
There is a lot of...
From what I gathered, the issue this artist has is that he work was recreated digitally without his consent. It's not so much that the fighter is displaying the tattoo, the issue is that THQ replicated it without permission. I still don't think it's right though.
Terribly sorry about your sister. I personally have two band tattoos and neither me or my tattoo artist are the creators of the core images I used. It's bothersome to think that someday I may have to cover those strictly because the images are not my own. That's an extreme concern, but who knows!
Author here: I agree! If Joe the Champ has 20 tattoos from 20 different artists, THQ would have to contact and pay royalties out to all 20 creators. Not gonna happen. But that's what this suit seems to imply.
Kingdom Hearts 3 may very well be announced this year. My question is will it end up being a timed exclusive and for what console. Because E3 seems to love almost giving fans exactly what they want.
