ummm when the actual numbers got worked out. xiii-2 sold like 330-350 thousand total in the US for its first month. That is pretty terrible for final fantasy.
It will probably sell around 1.6-1.8 million globally. This is nearly 5 million less than XIII.
I'd say people are sick of XIII. If they announce a third one they are just shooting themselves in the foot again and the sales will be incredibly dismal after how XIII-2 has performed.
It also isn't helping that the game most fans are asking for they are taking 6+ years to develop, aka Versus XIII.
If Versus XIII somehow sucks. I am through with them. I skipped XIII-2 and I wish I didn't give them my money for XIII.

Well when I went on andriasang it says it was a mistranslation. It was actually just a countdown to FF Theatrythm which comes out in 10 days.
Wow, hopefully this doesn't mean that they refuse to market Versus XIII while X HD gets shown off.

Hate to break the news to you but the standard ending is the canon ending. It's the only one in CG and there is a 10 second extension scene added to it if you get everything in the game.
Oh and trust me, that extra 10 seconds doesn't help how bad the end is.
I'm already skipping everything they come out with until Versus XIII comes out and then I'll probably get KH3 when I'm 30, (I'm 20 now). Do it SE. That will just solidify my decision to pass on everything you make until you get your head out of your ass.
I'll just be waiting on games from companies that care about their fans, like The Last of Us and The Last Guardian.

From a translation on Novacrystallis.com it says this " Regarding Versus, Nomura had a bit more to say. He’s been checking new media to be revealed to the press, and in comparison with last year’s trailer, the expression of the visuals has increased quite a bit."
New media to be revealed to the press? I really hope this is the accurate translation. That means they have stuff lined up to show in magazines, and possible footage as well.
There are several teams in the 1st production department. So I'm going to assume that the team that worked on XIII-2 has shifted to FF X, and that the Versus XIII team is hard at work. (AS THEY FRICKEN SHOULD BE)
I really don't trust this source. I mean aren't they just representatives of SE? WTH do they know anyways? (Assuming this guy actually got interviews)
And how did this guy get an interview with these reps, and why on earth would they want to remain anonymous, unless of course they know their company sucks.
I don't see any other information from SE reps come of of CES. So I'm gonna assume this is BS.

Naughty Dog is now my favorite company by far. I just love their ambition! They can take their time with The Last of Us. I'll be sure to buy it day one.
Maybe I would like XIII-2 more if I didn't cringe every time a character opens their mouth. And I'm not talking about the voice acting, I'm talking about the dialogue. Even the best VA can't save crappy dialogue.
Not to mention I don't like the monsters in your party thing at all. So yeah gonna pass on this one and save $60.
If this is on PS3 then count me in, I've been waiting for a .Hack console game for ages!
