Yikes. What the heck is going on with this game? Activision has pretty much been ignoring it, pirates have been messing with the game for days, and now it's hacked already? Not a good sign.
This may also even be one of the strangest Wii games/peripherals in general.
I'm guessing you live in Europe!
This is good news, but now I wish there was a North American announcement.
I'm going to guess that this is Street Fighter related.
Hm. Doesn't look terrible, but I would definitely have appreciated a "true" Pokemon game instead.
I don't know why Namco Bandai would put up that type of countdown page if it's a Keroro game. I'm hoping it's not, since that would be disappointing.
I, too, am very excited for 2010. Mario, Metroid, and Zelda in one year would be insane.
That could happen, although that would create a terrible cycle. Nintendo would keep releasing the latest Zelda game for what is, technically, old hardware.
Reggie does have a point about the PS3 having more time with its price cut, but he won't be able to say the same thing next month!
I'm pretty sure I remember Miyamoto saying that this would have been out this year if it weren't for New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
I suppose that, technically, this could fill the role as Nintendo's holiday 2010 game. But I don't see Nintendo not delaying this game at least once.
The thing is that Reggie is making this prediction based on a few months of sales. I expect that Modern Warfare 2 will sell a lot initially, but will it have long legs like New Super Mario Bros. Wii?
@unrealgamer - Thanks! That explains things.
Next week should be very interesting for The Crystal Bearers. I'm praying that game doesn't bomb.
I might be missing something since I haven't been keeping tabs on Modern Warfare 2 a ton, but what's up with that game? After reading your comment (and buckethead), it seems like people aren't rooting for it or something. I could be wrong, but I'm just confused a bit.
That was pretty unexpected!
Hm. The thing about New Super Mario Bros. Wii is that it's going to have tremendously long legs. We'll have to see what happens.
I'm not surprised at all that the DSi went down this week. The DSi LL (XL) is on the way, after all.
And I believe the PSPgo data is from one day of sales. So that's not too bad at all.
Ha, I remember that, although I don't believe that's real.
