I'll be bummed if UT3 is not out in November, this and Ratchet are huge for me.
I'm just glad I have the soon to be 'obsolete' 60 gig model, which has the full set of ps2 chips inside and not just software emulation for backwards compatibility. I'll also throw in a 300 gig hard disk in a year or so.
FirstShite is a HUGE 360 troll. He flames all things PS3 and talks mainly from his sphincter, as does BloodMask, TheMart etc...
Anyway, I personaly think this game will be 'meh' to 'Ok'. That's just because 9 times out of ten, western developers cannot make great fighting based games period. (The obvious exception being God Of War)
However, if the frame rate is decent and they get rid of the tearing, I think I'll buy it. I was not expecting this to be AAA from the outset...

Awwww poor loser needs new material. This lady must be so bitter as to scour the N4G news night and day and post negative anti PS3 rubbish all the time. Even if I wanted to do a similar anti...I hate this an that campaign,I don't have the time, and I'm not sad.
I can't really see much of a difference you guys. One a little brighter or darker than the other? SLight AA here and there.
I'll get one in a year or two, when it's 57 bucks, play it for a while, then go back to my real so called 'hardcore' games.

Would you drop 60 bucks on it though? Considering for ps3 there is/will be Warhawk, Ratchet, Unreal 3, Uncharted etc and 360 has Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass effect ....I mean thats allot of quality coming and IMO Stranglehold is just meh.

I down loaded the demo from PSN last night. It's crap. Once you get bored with the 'Max Payne' slow mo shooting and sliding over objects, you realize that is all there is to it.

I read a side by side comparison on another site that said the in game engine in FIFA just is not as fast and smooth as PES.
PES can keep up with you in decisions and flow, FIFA cannot.
I know what I'm getting.
That's ok, I think PES will be better, and that is looking great on the ps3.
But even I admit, the gpu is better on the 360. I hate nvidia, but hey, no big deal really. The whole PS3 is way better than the sum of it's parts and the 360.
