I expected this, but I still dont like it. Realistically I will play through the campaign once solo and then never touch it again, but the ability to jump into a quick co-op campaign level would definitely have me playing the campaign more.
Without co-op campaign matchmaking, I doubt I'll ever touch it once.
Seriously. ROTR is a blip on the radar IMO, and I'm sure Sony sees it the same way. Just one more game in a pile of hundreds. Without multiplayer the game wont have any long-term significance, either.
If it was free, yes.
If my PS4 DVD drive wasn't busted, yes.
Sadly, no.
1. fill it with hookers
2. fill it with cars
3. run over hookers with cars
4. see steps 1 through 3.
This is literally the only PS4 game I have my eye on for this year.... and no release date still. Fantastic.
oh yeah. bitterness. emotions. Xbox One is stupid. PS4 has no games. I hate online videogames. the internet scares me. I dont like change.
same here show. I found myself playing at 1am and had to get up this morning. I was racing online, and kept telling myself "1 more race". Game is ridiculously fun, handling is spot on and 24 player online races are the epitome of madness.
the lack of an A class lobby when I logged in has physically disturbed me. they better add more hoppers.
im playing now. I have to say having just played in the rain for the first time that its absolutely outstanding. they have nailed it so absolutely that I can hardly believe it. Rain driving requires an increased awareness of how you're driving in ways that are 100% true to life. Im actually disturbed.
For instance, typically in Forza games I would hit the accelerator hard out of a turn and my tired wont spin. But in the rain if you dont ease onto the accelerator out of a ...
Hell I am still playing Forza 5 like crazy... until tonight, that is.
There is nothing else like it when you are barely clinging to first in the final lap in an online match. Makes for some insane photo finishes sometimes.
I'm not getting taken king but would like to play 2.0 and see if its a bit more user friendly. Unfortunately my PS4's disk drive is kaput and I'm not motivated to get it fixed.
Yeah but PS4 doesn't have Halo 5 or Forza 6, rendering Sony's statement completely irrelevant.
Looks like it's just lifting a bunch of tired concepts from UBI games and shoving them in an open world shooter. Slap a pretty trailer on it and your bound to drag in some mindless players.
I really liked the first Homefront, as it was one of the only shooters on X360 last gen (if not the only game) with 50+ players in PVP. Why couldn't they just focus their efforts on crafting a great multiplayer?
Ideally I'll be doing most of my racing in the dry day when online. That or night. Wet is cool, but I think the dry track is preferable for obvious reasons.
lol @ the fake outrage. Unlike other "competing" (lol) racers, Forza 6 doesn't need to be soaking wet to be worth playing.
Xbox is the best supported console ever. Cant go wrong. MS' is on their game. Kudos.
and here I have been told that Forza is an annual release. Seems more disingenuous than anything.
7 million Forza players on X1 and counting. Pretty simple. but feel free to play the paranoid skeptic. I know numbers are incredibly important to you.
Got F6 preloaded, as soon as I get off work time to tear it up online. woot.
Preloaded. Now if only the work day would end I could git down 2 biznass.
It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Usually framerate is left in a state of flux while resolution is stable. However, frame dips are a lot more noticeable on the fly compared to the disparity between 900p and 1080p. Scaling the resolution just seems like the right idea.
Sturdy 60fps games are always such a pleasure to play. will be nice n' smooth. (bm tss)
Been playing WOT quite a bit lately. It's really fun. Big step up from the 360 version.
I didn't vote, but looking at them now I would have gone with Project Karoo.
