Emotional? Your character basically brushes off the fact that his wife (or her husband) was murdered right before them and when you meet your son (in a twist you see coming 50 miles away) your character shows no emotions at all. The only character in this game I even slightly cared about was Nick.
Kojima wouldn't have been as free if he went to MS or Nintendo. MS would just release his games at the dumbest possible time too.

The character models look like they were ripped from a PS2 game (seriously Star Ocean 3 had better character models.) The locations look nice though.
