yea i would imagine they would still have full installs with the disc to verify. because if it didnt then anyone could just install a game and pass the disc off to their friends for free
my thing is that wouldn't they have to redo the hardware model? because if a disc can install the game and not be needed anymore cant people just install once and give to a friend to install for free if theres not going to be an online check every 24 hours?
i would too because with the tales games and persona 4 my purchase would be justified
online isn't necessary just make a great game with new game + options and people will keep going
if the 360 was any evidence its clear that the xbox brand will fail again in japan. unless they can land an exclusive monster hunter game and other jrpg exclusives their sales will suffer
idk with a price drop and mario kart coming out theres still plenty of time for a turn around
everyone wrote off the 3DS its first year and now its the best selling console every month

more smoke and mirrors for MS as xbox one is ranked #8
they overcomplicated everything about their new console to the point where it seems they lost a huge chunk of their fan base.
at this point the hardcore aka the informed buyers will not deal with DRM and not having ownership of their purchases.
the casual will simply flock to the cheaper console thats is more accessible
their only buyers now are people who love new tech who will buy anything, fanboys who will lie to themselves and convi...
if microsoft thinks DRM, kinect and their other anti consumer policies are the future of the business then i really hope they fall flat on their face.
and it would beat the hell out of that illumiroom nonsense MS is pushing. this thing is the real deal if you talk about future of gaming and immersion
In the eyes of microsoft you're not buying "your truck" it never is and never will be "your truck". you bought a license to use "their truck"
i was so pumped when i first saw overstrike and saw that insomniac was making it...after i saw EA publish it and change the name to FUSE i knew it was going to turn out to be mediocre at best.
lol its like losing to the 10 run rule
so in modern zelda we put link in the projects and give him small knives to shiv his enemies with
the human eye can't tell the difference in resolution anyway unless your sitting extremely close to the television. theres almost no point to having it be compatible with 4k resolution. stick with 1080p televisions they're much more affordable. 4k and 8k resolution in theory are much better but in action are not noticeable and just another way of driving up television prices in the future
this could be the reason for the delay in the USA maybe were getting both episodes on release...which would be awesome
just discussed with 4 of my friends over wings last night. ps4 is the console of choice and they all played xbox last gen.
the guy in the photo doesn't look like the kind of person i would get credible information from anyway. he looks lost like he can't find the xbox one...just listen for the crickets and you'll find it
well if they hack Xbox One then no one can play games cause the service will be down...and wasnt PSN hacked over consumer rights? and X1 hurts consumer rights...sooooo just saying
exactly ^ they wanted complete control.
and to point out in the current gen digital games seem to get price drops long after the retail version of games drop in price.
idk why people thought xbox one digital games would be cheaper. youre not buying straight from the developer. the game is on Microsoft's network and they collect a portion of every sale.
the only time i have seen cheaper digital downloads are from retro games. for ex...
