Wii U lost the casual crowd that got the wii over 100million sales. 30-40mil if theyre lucky this time around. good thing for nintendo they have a ton of loyal consumers who have to play their franchises

it doesnt matter because once youre focused on gameplay graphics tend of become an afterthough
however it does matter because before you play the game you want to know you're buying the best possible experience. so it def matters for sales. why pay $100 more for a technologically inferior product that outputs inferior resolution. on paper it doesn't make sense
keep in mind here that launch titles are nowhere near the potential a console has
i will say though that microsoft overclocking their hardware already is a definite sign that there is a decent gap in power
either way after launch hundreds of tech experts will dissect both consoles and we'll have a legit comparison

1) titanfall exclusive helps make x1 more appealing a few months after launch
2) titalfall is exclusive but titanfall 2 is not. but at that point MS will have established that the general titanfall crown is on xbox, so if titanfall does well then the sequel will already be popularly associated with the xbox brand
