RE had hardly non of those things except for the music or basicaly sound effects like Zombie noises chewing on their victims...those flashes of lightning and "scary music" is what they do in those cheap horror films. Jumpy...

Dead Rising for example was ruined because of it's time limit, didn't like it in Simpsons hit and run were I wanted to take my time with the missions and I really hated it in the RE4 Mercenaries mode where all I want to do is see how long I could last.
So they couldn't be arsed to add Code Veronica to the PS3 version....REALLY.
I think the last thing to get him interested in RE6 would be the demo. It sucked so bad, it made RE5 look like a good RE game.

Squalls character development in FF8 is better then any other main FF character.
