It is running 2 engine at the same time so dual buffer requires more processing power so this is a good trade off. As we have seen from the multiplayer portion of KZ shadow Fall and Wolfenstein..it uses the same tyoe of technique with buffering but if digital foundry never existed..99% would never know. But with all the extras and gameplay that this collection offer, it is the true selling point and what make Halo so special and popular in the first place.
If you are referring that MS is behind all of this..then how do you explain Polygon (Notoriously accoused of being in MS back pocket) scores driveclub 7.5 over FH2 7.0??
Also...this same site here also gave TLOU HD a 5/5.
I don't agreed with the score but if anything is remotely deemed devastating
to the PS brand from any site..the first card played is that somehow MS is behind it. 😒
I don't trust this site as 3/10 is just plain trollin. They also gave Destiny a 9/10 and that is just plain wrong as well. Driveclub is a better game than what is described in the review.3/10 means it is just unplayable which is clearly not the case with DC.
Polygon also gave the original Foza Horizon on x360 a 6 as I recalled. Somehow they are in la la land when it comes to the racing genre. I have no beef with the Driveclub score but the Forza Horizons scores were way off.
What else is PS4 better than XB1 other than a bit better graphics? The game like Driveclub and Horizon 2 really show the different philosophy of the two brand has one as "amazing graphics" while the other is like a swift army knife. I'll leave it at that?
I expected a higher scores for this game tbh but all these these 5 and 6 are kind of shocking to me. I am pretty sure once more DLC and features are added..the game should be much better in the future.

The free version came out the same day as the regular version...it is not like a demo that came out a couple weeks in advance like what MS did with Forza Horizon 2.
The people that had their mind set on the game and already prepurchased the full version and predownloaded the $60 digital version are what the embargo is basically targeting. Sony got their money already from those customers just like how Activision and Bungie got that record sal...
Last 4 big releases. destiny and Driveclub both had embargos until after released.
While Forza Horizon 2 and Shadow of Mordor lifted their embargos about a week before released.
I'll let you figure that one out pertaining to why the later 2 scores so great while DC and Destiny kind of Flopped with critics. The old saying, if you don't have anything to hide...then show it, comes to mind.
I like how the armchair developers think they know what they talking about over actual developers. The reason why ACIV was able to run 1080p on PS4 is because it is a cross gen games like tomb raider. There is a reason why there are no AC unity on last gen consoles. The new engine built specifically for the new consoles have things like more enemies, more sophisticated AI, improved textures and etc. Those things will tax the hardware and CPU and something like fps and resolution have to scale...

3. Driveclub, LBP3
2. Hyrule Warriors, Smash bros, Bayonetta 2
1. Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct season 2, Ori, Halo MCC with Halo 5 Beta.
It's a PC...where the impossible happens. Can't wait to play both Shadow of Mordor and Assassin's Creed Unity at maxed setting without a loss of performance on my rig.

Where are you pulling those imaginary stats from? There are currently 38 reviews for DC on metacritics: 3 are 90 plus (including this review); 7 are 60s and below; while the rest are in between and mostly in the 70s so the 73 current score sounds about right. You need to recheck that.
