You have official gaming sites that claim that it wasn't the consumers but Sony that forced Microsoft's hand. Yes, they are not to be believed because they only report what Microsoft says, but some people whole heartily believe it and hop on again into the Xbox bandwagon, saying that microsoft cares for the consumers.
I understand Sony is a business that wants to make money too but I rather take quality(many years of support + P...
I thought the majority of MMO games are open world anyways, so it wouldn't make sense to include them with the single player games.
But yea, it is an open world generation and I'm loving it.

They are undecided because they don't want to be the black sheep who imposes it, so they wanted MS to take the lead and win. Trust me, publishers want nothing than to add more and more money in their pocket, even if it means screwing retailers. But now they can't because they will lose a huge fan base and don't want to be singled out.

I'm trying to find the ps3 instant game of the week, but I can't find it.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Honestly, look at Capcom's dlc model and tell me how will that motivates others to do the same. Quality games and Quality dlc's would sell no matter what. Give is a half assed game, and you will get a half assed profit
His game is madiocer at best and if he made a good game, it would sell no matter what, regardless of pirates, dlc's, etc.

To have more people talk about their game for longer. It's called creating a buzz. There are other ways to do so, but the best way is to not spend any money sometimes.
Just like what Microsoft did with their xbox one's negative publicity. More people were talking about xbox than PS4. However, after all the reveals, it is still being mentioned in a more negative way than positive, and I'm not talking on n4g only. Look at the comment section on every video game site...

The problem is that they may activate those without anyone knowing down the road. I suggest that people who buy the console read the fine print and see to it that when your rights gets violated, you have the right to sue.
