I love my kinect and am glad it's there. Sure i don't really use it for games outside of a few but it's just nice to have some of the features that it offers. I like Skype, and the fact that it automatically signs me in, and it's great when you have a game with extra content because you just scan the QR code and instantly have the content instead of inputting the 25 character code. There are more but these are just a few of the reasons I like my kinect.
Maybe I'm just old school but I remember a time when gamers had to defend themselves on our hobby against non gamers, but now it seems we have to defend ourselves against gamers! Oh well, I guess the times change and people need to argue with someone.
Do people really think that Xbox are ditching the kinect? Just because they removed it doesn't mean that they are not still utilizing it. What they did is give all the people who were whining about it and saying "I will never get an Xbone with that camera forced on me" an option. Me as well. I've been with Xbox since the beginning, but only have Live for a little over a year so the only Halo I've ever played online was 4.

Man I loved my Saturn....but in reality I had a very small collection of games. Had a launch game with the name Clockwork in it. Don't really remember what it was called.
Kinda like how Bungie went multiplat and giving Sony fans exclusive content that Xbox fans won't get all off of Xbox fans money. I know it's not an exact comparison, but it's still relevant.
Exactly guys. @Software_Lover-I hear ya. I love my XB1, I know the PS4 has more powerful hardware and that's great for Sony and their fans. Is slightly less powerful hardware going to stop me from enjoying my XB1....absolutely not. I don't care which system out of all 3 have the best or worst framerate or resolution because as long as I get a good looking game that not broken I am happy!
Man, there are so many quality games on NES. I also loved Wizards and Warriors! So many good games at a time when people loved to play games and not fight about what system was the best. I remember the day I got my gold cartridge of Zelda 2 from Toys R Us, it was one of my happiest days!
