the button mashing complaint is dumb becase any hack and slash game can be chosen to be played as a button masher. the keyword is chosen. You do not have to play it like a button masher. You can't beat GOW on hard mode easily anyway. another thing about QTE kills. How would just killing bosses and stronger enemies with regular attacks and combos or a non-interactive clip be better then a brutal satisfying interactive event.

And even then god of war is pretty diverse if you have played the games. But if you has hack and slash games then that might be the reason you don't like this game and if that is the case why are you here?

Just because a game can be played a certain way does not mean you have to play it that way. Try beating the other god of war games on the hardest mode just by button mashing. You will be owned.
it is different for everyone and that is on normal mode. Try to beat the game on the hardest difficulty in 9 hours. Don't forget the challenges as well.
just for reference no ps3 game has ever gotten a 9.5 or higher on this site ever.

actually achievements were used in games before 360 such as ratchet and clank skill points.
that was for dante's inferno and is gold. the one for GOW 3 is for 1000 hit combo and is bronze.
You are given a bronze trophy for a 1000 hit combo in GOW III but a gold trophy for a 666 hit combo in Dante's Inferno.
And covering 500 buckets of blood on kratos. How much is 500 buckets of blood?

It is pretty much a joke game.
And apparently is is available on the ps3 in japan(in English!). I would rent this game to get the achievements and a couple laughs.
the difference is the Only on Xbox sign does not mean much. Look at NGII and other games.
