At first I thought achievements added nothing to the game and that those who aim to acquire them all were just wasting their time. However, I have unlocked 2 platinum trophies on Arkham City and Dead Rising 2 simply because I found myself playing these games so damn much. So I think they do add some re-playability after all.
I personally love them. When the MGS release came out I bought it right away and had a blast playing MGS3. I'll keep buying them if something that interests me gets released.
What the hell is this guy on about!? MGS3 was my favorite out of all of them. Sounds to me like he just didn't like the story and really sucked at the game. How the hell do you spend 10 minutes trying to get out of alert mode!? With all the implemented gameplay mechanics in MGS3 I could get out of alert mode in 3 mins. CQC, tranq. gun, camouflage, stun weapons/items. What is this idiot crying about!?
I'd pay for an HD release of Vice City & San Andreas. I want it on disc though.
