You are assuming that PS4 owners choose to console game because of cost. I'm in my mid 30s I have a good job and disposable income. I console game for exclusives and convenience. The other adults I game with didn't choose PS4 because it was cheaper than a gamng PC.
Except it is still a valid arguement. PS+ didn't launch with PS3. It came some years later and still took time to get rolling. The PS3 had more than a three year head start on PS+.
Correct me if I'm wrong but NPD doesn't track numbers for consumers but instead is partnered with retailers to provide these tracking services. ESA is wrong in assuming that NPD is the reason digital sales aren't tracked.

Sound can make or break a game but it is not a rule. Who doesn't have fond memories of crappy 8bit sound? Lets not forget the thousands of gamers who are hearing impaired. I'd say sound is less important to a game then gameplay or visuals. So it may actualy be the least important thing in a game.
The best games in my opinion can be muted and still enjoyed.

Flinging shit in the comments isn't really standing up to devs though. The only way to do that is to speak with your wallet. I'm not thrilled about what I'm hearing but without having even seen gamplay I will hold off on being negative.

I loved TW3 but just look at the patch notes on console. The game was riddled with bugs and broken quests on release. Tbe patches don't lie.
When kids complain about patches that improve games I laugh. Back in the day that glitch would just remain in the game forever. You don't have to subject yourself to "unfinished games" every review I read mentioned glitches or bugs it was no secret.
The issue isn't evil game companies taking advantage. The issue is your first world instant gratification. You could wait for a better product but you "choose" not to.
It is a platform however so these games are multiplat?
The original statement by kuddos stands unless you want to change the definition of the word exclusive. You can call them console exclusives but if I can play the game without and Xbox then it is not exclusive to Xbox. Stop trying to change word definitions to fit your agendas.
