I don't doubt this happened and I am sorry it did, but unless you can provide evidence that the failure rate is over that 1% 200,000 then I don't see why this is news. We know the PS3 is not above failing as I have seen at least 2 or 3 stories about it every year since launch.
I understand you wishing it were a a larger problem but i am afraid there just isnt enough evidence to suggest that.
Fallout dlc would be nice seeing as how alot of people on my friends list are playing this game on PS3 and I am as well. I dont know though given the choice of fresh IPs or DLC to an already huge game, that I am still playing, I'd have to say let them have the dlc.

Thor that is your opinion and nothing more. My friends list has tripled since Home was released and I can go there anytime and see people engaged in conversations about gaming.
I wont defend it as a game or a killer app but if spaces like EA's become the norm then I think we will have more than what it is now a decent social space for gamers.

I really hope that word does not get used in the mp. I am growing tired of all the variations of owned. I will make it my personal mission to kill any one I see using the word "Killzowned" in the multiplayer.

I just think they want there to be a steady rise in hype for this game untill it drops. We start getting reviews now and we get hyped for the game and then slowly the hype dies down before the thing goes on sale. I am sure there are already reviews on desks waiting to go out. Early Febuary will bring a flood of hype for this title at least I think that is what they are hoping. I honestly think they know it will get great reviews by most.
I was looking forward to coop but I never read anything from the dev that even hinted they would put it in. I don't think it is in anyway a deal breaker and I too hope they rethink this and provide a patch.
Regardless this is a first day purchase for me hoping to see a midnight release. Hell most people in the beta said they would have payed 60$ just for the mp.

I might agree with that but adding value to the XBOX 360, like hard a built in hard drive, seems kind of responsive dont you think? What about the NXE avatars? How about the changing of major titles release dates to fall in line with the Killzone 2 release.

I have to disagree (without pushing the disagree button). If you look at the 4th row of shots you can clearly see that the chracters, on the ship farthest away, are way more detailed and no longer look like fuzzy messes.

I would be in complete agreement and worried to boot if it wasn't just your word. Truth is you only have been following this since it happened to you, and you not being aware that more people then yourself have gone through this, is no reason to think there is an abnormaly high ammount.
