in short, a bigger disc such as a blu ray disc can hold both DLC on the same said disc, and hold things such as textures, coding, bumpmapping etc, or anything that'll take up bytes much more than DVD can resorting in a better looking (ultimately better playin) game

yes, technically speaking u are correct Alpha. But when that argument is presented, it becomes a matter of convinience in having a blu ray disc (u dont have to get up to switch the disc)

but no, BluRay doesnt necessarily give any game any advantages in the sense of performing better. That all due to the capabilities of the console.
ALl bluray does is allow more data to be stored on a SINGLE disc so itll be more convenient for the dev, publisher and user.
